Hi,
I have to say my favorite is the Ying/Yang pattern because you can make an elegant purse or just something fun and funky depending on the fabric choices.

What a Giveaway!!! I'd pick the Easy Zip Wallet as a favorite.

I'm old fashioned, I still like the Big Easy bag. It's the size I like to tote my stuff. Kathie L in Allentown

I like the simple squares scrap bag just because it is simple but has personality. Thanks for the chance to win!

I like the On a Breeze shoulder bag. It isn't too large, has protected pockets so things can't slide out and so many fabric combinations. Like the wide strap too. Also like the Braided bag...a very different style purse that will get noticed where ever you go!

Megan said...

I love the On the Breeze bag. I'm always looking for purse patterns with lots of pockets and pouches.

I like the Big Easy, not only because it was inspired by a song title, but because of the size and all the handy pockets, both inside and out. I can tell that when Jamie is designing a bag, she is carefully considering construction methods as well as function of the finished product.

I love the Hexagon Block bag - that is just too much fun, knowing the multitude of possibilities for it ! Plus the shape is unique - I am getting tired of grommets and pleats - the Hexagon stands out as elegant but funky if you want it to be.

Being able to create a unique bag from a pattern is important to me in this day of what is supposed to bee In and Trendy

Choosing just one is hard but I think I'd like to try the YinYang bag.

I like the easy zip wallet it makes for nice gifts.

Hello, I have made several of the scrap bags, but my favorite is the Yin Yang bag. I made one for myself, and my Mom loved it so I made one for her, then my cousin Janet saw it and I made one for her, then my cousin Beth saw it and I made one for her, then my friend Pam saw it.... Well, you can see where this is going. The instructions for the scrap patterns are very well written and easy to understand.

My first sewing project after 20 some years of raising a family was the YInYang bag. It turned out great, and my best friend liked it so much I gave it to her, intending to make another for myself. I never got around to that, but my sewing enthusiasm was rekindled! So much so that my mother & sons surprised me with a super-duper sewing-embroidery machine for Christmas. I have so much fun playing with it, but my first real project on it was the Original Scrap Bag. It is my favorite because of its perfect size & shape, but mainly because I get so many comments and compliments on it-from girls & women of all ages. The cashier at Al's pizza (not much more than a teenager) now remembers me as the "lady with the cute purse". The hardware store clerk( also very young) admires it every time I come in. I have had people stop me on the street & in the mall to ask where I got my cute purse. Don't I love to say "I made it myself"! My neighbor (in her 70's) gave me a brand new computer printer and all she asked in return was "Please make me one of those adorable bags!" That will be my next project. I am anxious to try many more of them, so I would love to win the contest. Mainly, I am grateful for patterns that are easy to follow & quick to complete. To have a new and productive hobby at age 62 is great fun! My Social Security check seems to be going for fabric these days. Thanks, Jamie for the inspiration! Bette Loyd (BHL8185@yahoo.com)

I squealed when I saw this fabulous giveaway! I love the Easy Zip Wallet. What's not to love about 'easy'. The wallets you can buy in stores are cheap and ugly. I want to make my own out of fabric that I bought because I really thought it was cute but didn't have any project I could use it on. Thanks so much for hosting such an awesome giveaway.

I love the Ying Yang pattern. It is so friendly, it can be made up in true oriental looks (even using kimono fabrics), or it can be done with today's fresh designer lines of fabric to give it a very modern look. It can be dressy or simple and casual. It rocks!
